It had been over a year since many of you had gotten your hands on a hot Sandwich Club sandwich. We missed you, too.

So when the opportunity to host a two-day pop-up in North Minneapolis came along, it felt like the right place at the right time. We wanted to serve our people in North Minneapolis again, share what we’re building, and announce the fundraiser for a permanent home in the Camden nieghborhood.

You showed up before we even opened the doors

More than 50 reservations came in for the two days.

Then day one arrived, people started rolling in, and the place filled up quick! There were familiar faces and new faces, hot sandwiches, and the kind of energy that reminded us why we started Sandwich Club in the first place.

That weekend brought us closer to home

This two-day pop-up served as our announcement for our fundraiser and by the end of the pop-up weekend, we’d raised nearly $5,000 toward our goal. And at the time of writing this blog, we’re nearly halfway to $44,000.

Opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant takes a lot more than finding a room and putting sandwiches on the menu. Most of what we raise will go toward equipment and building out a clean, welcoming space where we can serve people well. Our goal is a lasting Sandwich Club home in North Minneapolis.

There’s room for you in this next chapter

If you want to help us get there, you can become a Founding Club Member, pick up limited merch, or make a contribution. Sharing our story with someone who loves a good sandwich helps, too.

To everyone who reserved a spot, grabbed a sandwich to go from our pop-up, supported the fundraiser, or cheered us on from afar: thank you. Truly. That weekend gave us a glimpse of what it could feel like to open our doors for good.
